This low-key and quaint boutique hotel on the East coast is reminiscent of a summer camp offering activities like bicycling, bingo, paddle boarding, yoga and more. The cabin inspired rooms circle around a central lawn called the "Magic Garden" , at night it turns into a hang-out spot for night revelers who gather around the picnic tables and heat lamps. The rooms offer a comfortable bed with a hammock to lounge in without foregoing modern day amenities such as Wifi and air conditioning. For those of you who want to relive your summer camp days, this is the spot. Images Ruschmeyer's

Travel Tuesday: Ace Hotel Downtown LA ...
I'm simply obsessed with Commune design, there isn't a single project that doesn't blow me away. A few months ago I featured the amazing American Trade Hotel in Panama City and this time they've done it again with the Ace Hotel Downtown LA. Located in the historic United Artist Building which has a heavy Spanish Gothic influence, Commune design stripped down the interior of the building and discovered a "modernist, brutalist concrete structure". They recreated the hotel from there by mixing LA's mishmash Gothic style and the work of local LA modernists. The result is an eclectic hotel pulsating with an industrial, vintage and trendy vibe .... Take a look!!!

House Tour: A Manhattan loft full of character ...
This home is exactly what I would have imagined for Coldplay's guitarist Jonny Buckland ... it's young, fun and dark at the same time. Love the kitchen island made of mahogany wood and the herringbone patterned hardwood floors. The furniture is modern and timeless with pieces like Eames chairs in the master bedroom and the Hans Wegner hoop chair in the living room. There's "a touch of rock-and-roll spirit" to this family home. Images via Elle Decor

Trending Thursday: Easter Table Setting ...
I like Easter table settings because they're fresh and creative. I was browsing through pictures on Pinterest and found a few that I thought were really cool and different ... Tulips is a must when I think of Easter table as well as some sort of bunny figurine. My personal favorite color palette is Robin blue with pink, orange or yellow tulips ... I also think that using an actual egg as place card holder is quirky and fun ... take a look at my inspirational pics!!! Images via Pinterest.

House Tour: Manhattan Townhouse ...
I saw this home in Architectural Digest and at once fell in love with the back yard designed by Miranda Brooks ... I loved the quaintness of the terrace outside - just seemed to ground everything with the plants being wild and loose. The townhouse was the vision of rising designer Laura Santos, who merged 3 adjacent row house to create a 21st century Beaux Art mansion in Greenwich village ... Take a look, images via
