Travel Tuesday: Ruschmeyer's Montauk ...

This low-key and quaint boutique hotel on the East coast is reminiscent of a summer camp offering activities like bicycling, bingo, paddle boarding, yoga and more. The cabin inspired rooms circle around a central lawn called the "Magic Garden" , at night it turns into a hang-out spot for night revelers who gather around the picnic tables and heat lamps. The rooms offer a comfortable bed with a hammock to lounge in without foregoing modern day amenities such as Wifi and air conditioning. Travel Tuesday: Shinta Mani Siem Reap ...

Shinta Mani Resort & Club is located in Siem Reap, Cambodia . When I visited the city a few years ago, I liked the fact that there weren't too many stylish establishments, it made you appreciate the authentic local vibe of the city. In any case as all things must change, Shinta Mani Resort & Club was designed by Bangkok based American designer Bill Bensley. The design is quite theatrical with Buddhist art adorning the ceilings and a dramatic color palette of black, grey and white offset with bright orange reminiscent of the robes worn by the Buddhist monks .... The Elliman House Cape Town ...

If there is any other city in the world I could live in, it would have to be Cape Town. Love the cosmopolitan vibe, the food and wine culture and the beautiful ocean views. Today we're off to the Elliman House boutique hotel which is set high up on the Bantry Bay cliffs. This Edwardian mansion is filled with antiques and artwork by the greatest South African artists. Every room has its own character with every modern convenience, take a look.

 

 

Azura Benguerra Island ...

I'm slightly obsessed with the beaches in Mozambique at the moment, last year I featured Vamizi Island  and today we're off to Benguerra Island which is located off the southern coast of Mozambique. Azura Benguerra lies within a National Park surrounded by deserted beaches and turquoise blue seas. The resort is an 'eco-boutique' one with 16 beach villas with private infinity pools ... with the Indian Ocean at your doorstep, what's not to like about this place:)
