Navy & Gray Classic Fall ...

It's very hard to pull off Navy & Gray without verging on boring ... the Celine Fall 2013 RTW changed my mind ... the look is chic, elegant, edgy and everything but boring. I feels it's a new neutral in both fashion and interiors.Take a look.

Trending Thursday: Rethink your floral

I know what you're thinking ... 'boring' but it doesn't have to be ... here are a few rules to make sure that these patterns don't make you feel like you are back in your grandmother's house - keep it simple, use it sparingly, go for 'abstract florals' or 'chinoiserie floral' or even better, stick to an understated classic floral motif.

Trending Thursdays: Winter Chalet

It’s the weekend escapes, that make the work week worth it. Especially the winter weekends away from the distractions of the city… the snow, the peace, the quiet… And when it comes to interior designs – I just love the warmth of the brown / beige colors against the natural wood tones while the fireplace crackles in the background. All this, against the vibrant white snow views and winter wind….

Dreaming of Seafoam ...

This winter has been really trying and I cannot wait to be on the beach and watch the waves break at my feet ... until then I am going to find things that remind me of it.

Opening doors ...

Doors are often overlooked while designing a space. If used creatively they can dramatically change the look and feel of a space. I personally love old barn doors that are installed in a contemporary setting.
