And so it goes, Hemingway had a fondness for words and
well,…drinking. His drink of choice was the Daiquiri, a combination of
White Rum, Fresh Lime, and a touch of sweetness, though Hemingway
preferred no sweetness and double the amount of booze. The Hemingway
Daiquiri was born from this combination with the addition of
Maraschino Liqueur (a cherry liqueur) and Grapefruit Juice. Yet, since this is Fresh+Twist, we gotta add our signature to it…We are using
Starr African Rum,
a delicious tropical rum from the island of Mauritius and topping this
classic cocktail with a little Prosecco & a hint of
Campari. It’s a Happy Hour Friday, why not… Enjoy the weekend.
THE HEMINGWAY FIZZ
1/4 oz Fresh lime juice
1 oz Fresh Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice
1 tsp Sugar
1/4 oz Campari
Prosecco to fill
Lime Zest Garnish
In a mixing glass, add all the ingredients together, except the
Prosecco & Lime Zest. Then add ice & Shake. Pour the mixture
over Ice in a Collins glass, Top the cocktail with Prosecco, then
garnish with Lime Zest & Grapefruit slices. Drink & Enjoy!
