Fig & Goat Cheese Pizza ...

Love anything that has to do with figs ... this pizza looks great once you get over the pizza dough preparation. Alternatively you could use store bought flat bread for a quick and easy version. Recipe & Images via Sprouted Kitchen.

Stylish Boutique Hotel in Beverly Hills ...

Voted one of the world's " 50 Best Designed Hotels" by California Home + Design magazine, Avalon has been the site of countless photo shoots and continues to be a favorite of Hollywood tastemakers who congregate in cabanas by the amoeba shaped pool, or in the hotel's 1950s inspired lobby lounge. The design is a signature Kelly Wearstler one packed with mid-century Eames, Noguchi and Nelson furniture to match its blocky blue facade and curvaceous hourglass-shaped pool ... take a look!

'Between Time' Design Showroom in Berlin

I was excited when I discovered this pop-up showroom in Berlin which is the collaboration of of interior architect Gisbert Pöppler and vintage furniture dealer Erik Hofstetter. 'Between Time' showcases a former 19th Century hardware store, combining interior elements, fine art, and home furnishings with objects from 1900 to present day. The worn down décor of the building creates tension, breaking with the conventions of typical white walled showroom culture. This is my ultimate idea of recycle and reuse and I hope to see a lot more in the future ...

Leopard Print Trend for Fall !!!

Leopard is hot this fall, I cringe when I see this print on some people, it looks like the actual animal is coming at you. I feel this print should to be used very sparingly as it can go from classy to trashy very quickly. A little goes a long way - perhaps a pair of flats or a scarf or a throw pillow or an accent chair but really one has to exercise caution and restraint ... they are dangerous but sexy if done right:)

Here is my Leopard wishlist for fall - love the Marc Jacob scarf, it's fun and cool!

Kate Spade Lottie Leopard Pump $328.00
Betsy Johnson Leopard Strap Watch $105.00
AVF Acrylic Leopard Printed Tray $310.00
DVF 440 Leopard Print Clutch $265.00
Club Monaco Skinny Belt $45.50
Marc Jacob Scarf Blue $158.00
Storage Box Zara Home $16.90

Ideas for decorating with Leopard print - a dangerous and glamorously sexy look for your home.

The Musket Room restaurant in Noho

Absolutely love the design of this restaurant that opened a few months ago in NYC’s Noho and I cannot wait to try it. Matt Lambert is the executive chef and owner of this fine dining establishment, a veteran of restaurants Public & Saxon + Parole. The Musket Room was designed by Alexander Waterworth, an interior design firm based in London. The design is understated, warm and cozy – love the lime-washed walls, exposed bulbs, reclaimed wood and blue leather banquettes …

Belize Adventure!!!

Today we are heading off to Belize ... to be quite honest I knew nothing about the country until I came across this absolutely quaint and exotic boutique hotel. Situated between Guatemala and Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula, Belize is a great destination for adventure seekers. The land is unspoiled with lush mountains and jungles, pristine Caribbean beaches and islands, and the longest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere. The Ka'ana Boutique Resort is nestled in a valley surrounded by the Maya Mountains, where guests can immerse themselves in the region's rich cultural heritage. The design influence is a fusion of Balinese architecture and indigenous Mayan influences. Take a look ... Images via.
