Trend Alert: Color of the Year ...

The much awaited color of the year is Radiant Orchid somewhere between purple and pink … the color gets a love or hate reaction. Personally I think it’s a great color for accent pieces in interiors ... girlie for sure but there is an elegance and sophistication to it. It’s a color that needs to be intentional and bold, you need to own it, so make sure you love it before you dive in until then here are some images that might inspire you. 

Rock Out Palm Springs ...

The new Hard Rock Hotel opened its doors last year in Palm Springs, California. In keeping with the Palm Spring vibe, the design has a huge influence from the Coachella music and art festival.  The hotel is very contemporary and eclectic with lots of art that reflect the pop culture vibe the owners were going for. The attention to detail is impressive with torched recycled wood flooring, wood paneling on walls and painted ceiling. Looks like a whole lot of fun and if you are heading to Palm Springs, this place is on the Must See list.
