American Trade Hotel, Panama City ...

I'm a huge fan of L.A design firm Commune, I've featured some of their homes in my previous blogs. I was super excited to see their new project which is the American Trade Hotel in Panama City for the trendy Ace Hotel Group. The hotel feels relax, casual and reminiscent of a bygone era, the designer was trying to  achieve a look that felt like the hotel had been there forever ... Take a look. Images via

The Elliman House Cape Town ...

If there is any other city in the world I could live in, it would have to be Cape Town. Love the cosmopolitan vibe, the food and wine culture and the beautiful ocean views. Today we're off to the Elliman House boutique hotel which is set high up on the Bantry Bay cliffs. This Edwardian mansion is filled with antiques and artwork by the greatest South African artists. Every room has its own character with every modern convenience, take a look.

Outrageous Valentine's Day ...

So I came by this article in Code Nast Traveler that featured outrageous hotel packages for V-Day and this one was truly outrageous. For $777,777.00 the Capella in Washington D.C offers the "Capital Engagement" package which features a 5.01 carat white cushion cut diamond ring, private jet ride, a five-course dinner and wine accompanied by a string trio, champagne breakfast in bed, a sunset Potomac River cruise followed by a ride in a horse-drawn carriage, which will then take you to a rooftop party with a private jazz trio concert, followed by a champagne night cap ... I don't have pics of the diamond or private jet but you can take a look at the property:)

Azura Benguerra Island ...

I'm slightly obsessed with the beaches in Mozambique at the moment, last year I featured Vamizi Island  and today we're off to Benguerra Island which is located off the southern coast of Mozambique. Azura Benguerra lies within a National Park surrounded by deserted beaches and turquoise blue seas. The resort is an 'eco-boutique' one with 16 beach villas with private infinity pools ... with the Indian Ocean at your doorstep, what's not to like about this place:)

Dream Home in Marrakech ...

I fell in love with Morocco the first time I visited in 2005 ... Marrakech is a bustling city full of life ... I especially love the homes inside the Medina which are completely walled on the outside but when you step into one it's like entering an oasis.
